Joining UNICEF’s champions to raise funds for children in need

We want to give back to the community by dedicating capacity to civil initiatives. Supporting childrens in need is important for the entire team: we agree with UNICEF’s core values and we do our best to raise awareness within our community.

We have been supporting a global initiative locally. Leaders of small and medium-sized business in Hungary join UNICEF’s Champions for Children programme and form an alliance with the organisation: donate as well as help raise funds for children in need. UNICEF increasingly promotes equity and inclusion, and the organisation works to provide learning opportunities that prepare children with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive. Péter Barta, CEO of the WST group joined the initiative in 2018 for a year, along with 16 Hungarian champions.

Since then, we follow the organisation’s activities, and support UNICEF with technical support, donations, and we participate in CSR actions with the WST team.
